Tropical storm Hannah was bearing down on the Mid-Atlantic and due to hit Saturday, so Miss Crooks and I decided to haul ass the entire way home from Quebec City on Friday instead of taking our sweetass time and going through Vermont and stopping to see friends in NYC like we wanted. Pretty much the best vacation ever other than that one thing. And the CD collection she bought me from The Moth made the long drive feel shorter.
…and she said “let there be more roadtrips.”
13 straight hours of driving be damned, I had a wonderful time and look forward to our next adventure.
